Hands-on experience in the process involved to place/update fixed equipment/climbs at a climb site.
Service Description
The aim of the day is to place/update fixed equipment/climbs at a suitable venue, and give attendees hands-on experience in the process involved, to include: Rigging and rope work systems for cleaning and equipping climb sites. Testing/decision making of suitable quality of rock for fixed protection. A knowledge of different types of bolts. Hands on experience of placing both resin, expansion and removable bolts. An understanding of the ethics/considerations/guidebook updates etc involved. 1 day. x1 AMI CPD point Maximum numbers: x4 No minimum. ALL those attending must be competent in independently ascending and descending a fixed rope: eg using a Petzl Gri-Gri/equivalent and ascender system (there are multiple variations of course), including, but not limited to: • AMI Members • Rope Access Workers with a strong climbing logbook • MT qualified (RCI/RCDI) instructors with a strong climbing logbook • Trainee instructors with a strong climbing logbook • Passionate and committed climbers with a strong climbing logbook

Cancellation Policy
Bookings and Payment: A completed booking form and deposit (or full payment if within 14 days of the activity) are required to confirm a booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 14 days before the activity date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Group bookings must be made by a responsible adult aged 18 or over. Cancellations by the Participant: If you cancel your booking: • More than 28 days before the activity – full refund minus a £20 administration fee. • 14- 28 days before – 50% refund. • Less than 14 days before – no refund. We may, at our discretion, allow bookings to be transferred or rescheduled. Participants are advised to arrange suitable personal insurance. Weather, Conditions and Changes by GO Vertical: All activities are subject to weather, environmental and water conditions. If conditions are deemed unsafe in the professional judgement of GO Vertical instructors, GO Vertical will offer a suitable alternative activity or location on the same date where possible. If no suitable alternative is available, the booking will be transferred to another date at no additional cost. Refunds will only be offered if no alternative or rescheduled date can be provided. Decisions regarding safety, activity choice and location are final.
