My name is Matt Jones

About Me? 

I started climbing as a teenager in the 1980s. Climbing became an obsession. I took a year out of university to focus on climbing, and began working as a Climbing Instructor over 20 years ago in Spain. Am still on my year out!

I have since climbed and worked all over the world, with many different organisations, including some of the most influential adventure training providers: National and Local Outdoor Education Centres; World Challenge; UK+UAE Military and Special Forces; Outward Bound; the Oil and Gas Industry (Mountain Safety).

I, as GO Vertical owner strive to give you the best product:

PPE INSPECTION

UK legislations that include ‘Working at Height regulations 2005’ (WAH) and Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) state that all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is to be thoroughly examined and inspected at a regular and set interval by a ‘competent person’.

Matt is a qualified and experienced PPE Inspector.
